Background
Christin Williams joined the Mississippi State Department of Health in 2017 working in the Office of Health Policy and Planning, and became director of Health Policy and Planning Development in 2019. She received a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law and continued her studies at the University of Houston Law Center where she received a Masters of Laws in Health Law with honors. Prior to joining the Department of Health, Christin spent three years at the Division of Medicaid serving as the agency’s Privacy Officer overseeing their privacy program.
