Indicators

States receiving IDEA funds must have a State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) of performance on the following indicators:

Indicator 1: Timely Receipt of Services

This measures the percent of infants and toddlers with IFSPs who receive their early intervention services in a timely manner (within 40 days of their IFSP).

Indicator 2: Settings

This measures the percent of infants and toddlers with IFSPs who primarily receive early intervention services in their homes or community settings.

Indicator 3: Early Childhood Outcomes

This measures the percent of infants and toddlers with IFSPs who demonstrate improved:

Indicator 4: Family Outcomes

This measures the percent of families participating in Part C who report that early intervention services have helped the family:

Indicator 5: Child Find (Birth to One)

This measures the percent of infants and toddlers ages birth to one with IFSPs in Mississippi compared to national data

Indicator 6: Child Find (Birth to Three)

This measures the percent of infants and toddlers ages birth to three with IFSPs in Mississippi compared to national data

Indicator 7: 45-Day Timeline

This measures the percent of eligible infants and toddlers with IFSPs who completed an initial evaluation/assessment and an initial IFSP within 45 days of referral

Indicator 8: Early Childhood Transition

This measures the percent of toddlers with disabilities who exited Part C with timely transition planning (at least 90 days before the toddler's third birthday) including:

Indicator 9: Dispute Resolution: Resolution Sessions

Mississippi Part C does not offer resolution sessions or settlement agreements

Indicator 10: Dispute Resolution: Mediation

This measures the percent of mediations held that resulted in mediation agreements

Indicator 11: State Systemic Improvement Plan

This indicator includes updated information and data on the implementation of the State's Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP).
