Background
David Hall serves as director of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Bureau of Acute Care Systems. He is a credentialed paramedic with more than 29 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services. He completed the paramedic program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He holds a BA and MA degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP). He has significant experience as a field paramedic and EMS educator. He served as the Chair of Emergency Medical Sciences at Hinds Community College for 13 years, and is a past President of the Mississippi Association of EMS Educators. He joined MSDH in 2016 as director of the Bureau of Acute Care Systems. His responsibilities grew to include directing the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services in January 2022.
