Dr. Tate received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has over 17 years of experience in clinical practice. Since joining the Mississippi State Department of Health in 2011, Dr. Tate has served the citizens of Mississippi as a staff physician in clinical practice, as a Deputy District Health Officer, Acting District Health Officer, and Regional Health Officer.
