Trauma Services Summary
- The 24-hour trauma team includes trauma surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, CRNA’s, medical students, respiratory therapists, orderlies, x-ray and lab technicians.
- The trauma center has 2 shock trauma rooms for the initial assessment of all trauma patients and 13 non-critical assessment and treatment rooms.
- There are 19 Trauma Intensive Care Unit rooms, and there is a dedicated operating room along with surgical suites and a recovery room.
- The new assessment and treatment area accommodates 13 patients, while the new TICU accommodates 7.
- The center has a 150-mile radius air and ground service area.
