Pursuant to Section 41-59-7 of the Mississippi Code 1972 Annotated, Interim State Health Officer Dr. F. E. Thompson, Jr. MD, MPH, has called a meeting of the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for November 5, 2007, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at the Mississippi State Department of Health, Osborne Auditorium, located at 570 E. Woodrow Wilson, Jackson Mississippi.
The Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council will discuss patient care issues in the pre-hospital setting and shall advise and make recommendations to the Board of Health regarding rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to this chapter. The Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (BEMS) will host this meeting. All interested parties and public are invited to attend.
