Description of data fields collected in the patient origin survey.

The Mississippi State Department of Health, Division of Health Planning and Resource Development, conducts two-week patient origin studies on all inpatients discharged from hospitals in the state. The types of data available from the quarterly Patient Origin Studies are indicated below.
