Capacity-building training by Carey Kaltenbach

Carey Kaltenbach is the Director of Grants for Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH), where he seeks and coordinates funding opportunities for a wide variety of projects and programs over an eight-county service area.

Carey has conducted over 400 grant writing workshops and presentations in Missouri and the nation, including several in Jackson, Mississippi. Before coming to CMH, Carey served as Vice President of Fund Development at St. Louis Area Resources for Community and Human Services. Since 1985, he has consulted in the grants, banking, and product-testing laboratory fields as well as in workplace writing, fundraising, and strategic planning with nonprofit organizations.

In February, March, June, and November of 2007 Mr. Kaltenbach presented tools for communities to become competent in capacity building. He also gave a presentation in January 2008. He has shared his wisdom and knowledge throughout Mississippi, including the cities of Hattiesburg, Biloxi, Grenada, and Jackson.
