hiking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, biking and more.

Practice possibilities are as rich as Mississippi's
river bottom lands, as vast as its pine forests. Rural and underserved
communities around the state need your knowledge, skills, and commitment. Enjoy comfortable, casual living, and
convenience to metropolitan areas.

Mississippi's relaxed pace and laid-back atmosphere help you strike a healthy balance between seeing patients
and smelling the roses — or magnolias
as the case may be. You're not just encouraged to enjoy yourself after
hours, you are expected to.

A musical heritage that includes blues master
Robert Johnson and rock-and-roll king Elvis Presley. A literary
legacy extending from William Faulkner to Richard Wright to John Grisham. As much as the state gives in culture,
Mississippians give more of themselves to making you feel at home. Warm welcomes and a refreshing "never a stranger"
hospitality make it impossible to remain a newcomer for long.

Doctors
Family practitioners, internists, pediatricians, OB/GYNs and psychiatrists are needed across the state.
It's your chance to make a difference — to practice health promotion and disease prevention, and
give continuity of care to the young and the young-at-heart. Thrive as part of an interdisciplinary team
concerned with meeting patients' health care needs. The team may include other physicians, nurse practitioners,
physician assistants and other health professionals committed to improving access to health care.

Dentists
There is a tremendous need for dentists and dental hygienists throughout the state.
Although dentistry represents the fourth-largest health profession, many rural areas still face shortages.
Mississippi needs your skills and knowledge as well as your compassion and presence in the community.

|
Nurses
