Supplemental Fluoride Dosage Schedule

Guidelines for systemic fluoride supplements recommended by the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatrics are presented below. Supplemental dosage is based on the amount of naturally-occurring fluoride in the local public drinking water. Figures in this table are given in mg/L (equivalent to ppm).
