| Community Workshop Addresses How to Support Families Dealing with Grief |
November 10, 2005 — The Mississippi Department of Health (MDH) will host a community workshop, "After the Death of a Baby: Understanding and Supporting Families During Grief," for community leaders, health-related professionals and clergy members who help families cope through the bereavement process.
Participants will learn ways to work with families who have lost a child and understand the grief a family endures due to the loss of a child. The community workshop is free, and health-related professionals who attend can apply for continuing education credits.
