Background
Kathy S. Moon has over 25 years of experience in Mississippi state and local government, 18 of them with the MSDH. She received a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Mississippi University for Women and a master's in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. Moon also completed the South Central Public Health Leadership Institute through Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
