Background
Sherwin Stewart was named Director of the new Office of Tobacco Control at MSDH in January 2008. Prior to joining the Department of Health, he served as the Director of Allied Health Programs for Virginia College in Jackson, MS. Mr. Stewart holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Sciences of Management degree from Belhaven College. He has been a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic since 1993.
