Background

Tim Darnell has served for over 12 years with MSDH. Prior to becoming the Director of Field Services, he held positions at MSDH as Environmental Health Director, Director of the Bureau of General Environmental Services, and Environmental Health Consultant in the Bureau of Field Services. Before joining the Department of Health, he was a laboratory manager and environmental consultant for eight years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and his Master of Science in Applied/Environmental Microbiology from Mississippi State University.
