Health Screening Events

Health screenings save lives. Early detection of conditions such as hypertension or elevated blood sugar can help prevent serious diseases like diabetes and heart disease that kill thousands of Mississippians every year.

Health screening is quick and easy. You can have your weight, blood pressure and blood sugar checked in just a few minutes by public health professionals. It doesn’t hurt, and it takes no special preparation.

Screenings events are free. Health screening events are public services from the Mississippi Department of Health and their partners. All our screenings are done at no cost to you.
